CBS is lauching a new television drama on September 25th @10PM, called Vegas. It is based on the true story of Las Vegas Sheriff, Ralph Lamb, who tried to restore law and order to the city in the 1960's. Outsiders were coming into Vegas and corrupting the city. Even though Lamb was retired and peacefully running his ranch, the mayor appeals to him to help when a casino worker is murdered. That's when he gets involved with Vincent Savino, a Chicago mobster, who is trying to take control of Vegas.
Two well known actors have been cast in the starring roles. Dennis Quaid plays Ralph Lamb and Michael Chiklis plays Vincent Savinio. Once again another major network has jump on the Mob frenzy created by Jennifer Graziano! Also soon to come is ABC's Red Widow, premiere date yet to be announced.
